About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to guide content strategy 2. Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, image alt text, and internal linking for target keywords 3. Identify and resolve crawl issues, broken links, and ensure proper indexing using Google Search Console 4. Build high-quality backlinks through white-hat link-building strategies such as guest posting, outreach, and directory submissions 5. Coordinate with content writers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into blog posts, landing pages, etc. 6. Analyze competitors' SEO strategies and adapt effective techniques for better visibility 7. Track keyword rankings, traffic, and backlink profiles using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush 8. Prepare SEO performance reports with insights and action items for continuous improvement 9. Optimize Google Business Profile and local listings to improve local search presence (if applicable) 10.
