Junior Research Fellow (Project Assistant)

You are invited to apply for the position of Junior Research Fellow (Project Assistant)-1 at the Amity Institute of Applied Sciences, Amity University, Noida. This position is for a time-bound research project titled "Theoretical exploration of nonlinear Quantum optical interactions in the attosecond pulse regime" sponsored by SERB (CRG). The duration of the position is 3 years, until March 2027. **Role Overview:** As a Junior Research Fellow (Project Assistant)-1, you will be involved in conducting research on nonlinear Quantum optical interactions in the attosecond pulse regime. You will work under the guidance of the project team to contribute to the theoretical exploration of the subject matter. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct research on the assigned project topic - Assist in data collection, analysis, and interpretation - Collaborate with team members to achieve project milestones - Prepare reports, presentations, and publications related to the research findings - Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Quantum optics **Qualifications Required:** - Masters Degree (M.Sc./MS/M.Tech) in Physics / Chemistry / Chemical Sciences/Chemical Engineering) with a minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized University - Desirable: NET/GATE qualified - Knowledge of computer programming will be considered a bonus In addition, the selected candidate must adhere to the general conditions set by the funding agency governing the terms and conditions of the project.
