Junior Quant

Role Overview: As a Junior Quantitative Analyst (Junior Quant), you will be involved in the development and testing of quantitative models for pricing, trading, or risk management. Your role will include analyzing large datasets using statistical and machine learning techniques to identify patterns or opportunities. You will support senior quants and traders with data-driven insights, simulations, and performance analysis. Furthermore, you will work with tools like Python, R, MATLAB, or similar to build and validate models. Collaboration with IT and development teams to implement models into production environments will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Additionally, conducting backtesting and stress-testing of strategies using historical market data and documenting methodologies clearly for internal use will be part of your daily tasks. Qualification Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Quantitative Finance. - Solid understanding of probability, statistics, linear algebra, and time-series analysis. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, R, or MATLAB. - Familiarity with financial markets, derivatives, and trading concepts is a plus. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.,
