A Junior Quality Assurance (QA) Tester is an entry-level role responsible for supporting software quality assurance activities to ensure software applications meet required standards before release.
Their key duties typically include creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts; performing functional, regression, and user acceptance testing; identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects; and collaborating with developers and business users to ensure quality and timely bug resolution.
They may also assist in improving QA processes, participate in code reviews, and provide support during user acceptance testing (UAT).
