Junior Photo Editor in Kolkata

At Framed, every image is a story — not just a frame. We don’t believe in slapping on presets or applying batch edits that strip photos of their essence. We believe in editing with intent — understanding what the image is trying to say, and then using light, color, tone, and crop to let it speak louder.We’re looking for a Junior Photo Editor who’s passionate about visual storytelling and eager to grow in a fast-paced, creative environment. You’ll work under our senior editors, helping bring shoots to life — from weddings and portraits to commercial work — while learning the craft of cinematic, emotionally-driven editing.

Key Responsibilities

• Visual Curation: Assist in selecting images that communicate story and emotion, not just technical perfection.
• Color & Mood: Apply color corrections and basic grading to enhance the narrative tone of each image.
• Batch & Individual Edits: Edit large volumes of images efficiently without compromising quality or consistency.
• Quality Checks: Ensure images are polished, on-brand, and meet Framed’s visual standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with photographers and senior editors to understand shoot intent and style.
• Workflow Support: Help maintain organized file structures, naming conventions, and editing processes.
  

Key Skills Required

• Basic understanding of composition, lighting, and storytelling through images.
• Proficiency in Lightroom and Photoshop (cleanup, color correction, retouching).
• Willingness to learn cinematic grading techniques and adapt to brand guidelines.
• Ability to work efficiently on high-volume edits.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining visual consistency.
  

Who You Are

• Some experience in photo editing (internship or 1–2 years preferred).
• Passionate about photography, visual storytelling, and post-production.
• Eager to learn, receptive to feedback, and able to work collaboratively in a creative team.
