Junior Operations Engineer

As a Junior Operations Engineer at our company, you will have the opportunity to support the health of our cloud-based Java microservices platform. You will learn industry best practices in monitoring, incident response, and automation while working with tools like Kafka, MongoDB, and Datadog. This hands-on role will allow you to grow your technical skills under the guidance of experienced engineers. - Monitor production systems and respond to alerts under guidance. - Assist in investigating and escalating incidents. - Execute standard operational procedures (backups, restarts, deployments) using runbooks. - Participate in service onboarding processes by validating checklists and documentation. - Learn observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus) to support service health monitoring. - Support CI/CD pipeline tasks and basic scripting for routine tasks. To be successful in this role, you should have: - 02 years of experience in an operations, support, or infrastructure role. - Understanding of Linux-based systems, networking, and scripting (Bash, Python preferred). - Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Eagerness to learn monitoring tools, infrastructure basics, and incident response. - Good communication skills and a team collaboration mindset.
