Ciklum is looking for a

Junior .NET Software Engineer

to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As a Junior .NET Software Engineer, who is enthusiastic about developing scalable web applications and eager to grow in a fast-paced, enterprise-grade environment. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers, gaining practical experience across backend and frontend development while contributing to impactful solutions in the financial technology domain.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of web applications using C#, .NET Framework, and RESTful APIs
Support the implementation of responsive front-end interfaces using Angular or Vue.js
Write basic SQL queries and perform data operations on SQL Server
Participate in CI/CD pipeline processes under the guidance of senior engineers using tools like Jenkins
Write and maintain unit tests and support bug fixing and code refactoring
Contribute to Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Follow best practices in coding, testing, and documentation as part of a collaborative development team
Show a strong willingness to learn and adapt to enterprise software development standards

Requirements

1 3 years of experience in .NET full-stack development
Backend:
- Basic working knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, REST APIs, and SQL Server
Frontend:
- Familiarity with Angular or Vue.js for building user interfaces
Exposure to CI/CD concepts, version control (e.g., Git), and Agile methodology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
A self-starter with a strong desire to learn new technologies and grow within the team

Desirable

Exposure to .NET Core, Entity Framework Core, or Jenkins
Familiarity with legacy technologies like Knockout.js or jQuery
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Awareness of SAFe Agile practices or similar scaled Agile frameworks
