Junior Legal Counsel

As a Junior Legal Counsel at Sustainability Economics in Bengaluru, Karnataka, you will play a crucial role in advising the management on all legal matters to support the organization's business objectives. Your responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing various commercial contracts, conducting legal research, maintaining contract records, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks. Your main responsibilities will involve drafting and reviewing NDAs, advisory agreements, and consulting agreements, as well as identifying key risks in third-party agreements. You will also be responsible for maintaining contract records, updating internal company policies, and providing legal research and advisory support on corporate law and regulatory matters. To excel in this role, you should hold a Law degree (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution and have at least 2 years of experience in a corporate legal environment or law firm. Strong understanding of contract law, excellent legal drafting and research skills, good communication, and organizational abilities are essential. Your attention to detail, proactive work ethic, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion will be critical in this role.
