Junior Interior Designer

Paliath Interiors is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in design principles, proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, and experience working on residential projects. A solid understanding of materials, including plywood and timber, as well as knowledge of hardware brands and their applications, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Senior Interior Designers in creating initial design sketches, color themes, and ideas based on client requirements and space availability.
• Develop detailed design plans and 3D models using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring designs align with their vision.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings, with a focus on plywood, timber, and hardware brands.
• Prepare project documentation, including specifications, drawings, and presentations.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure design integrity.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices in interior design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• 0.6 months to 2 years of experience in residential interior design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of design principles and space planning.
• Knowledge of plywood, timber woods, and various hardware brands and their usages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,107.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
