Junior Interior Designer

Job description

Role Overview:

As an Interior Designer you will work closely with our design team and clients to create exceptional interior spaces. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in interior design, with a passion for delivering high-quality designs that reflect client needs and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concept Development: Collaborate with senior designers and clients to understand project requirements and create initial design concepts.
• Space Planning: Develop floor plans and layouts that optimize space and functionality while adhering to design principles.
• Design Execution: Create detailed design drawings, material boards, and mood boards for client presentations.
• 3D Visualizations: Produce 3D renders or sketches to help clients visualize the final design.
• Material Selection: Recommend materials, finishes, and furnishings in line with the design aesthetic, budget, and client requirements.
• Client Interaction: Regularly communicate with clients to gather feedback, adjust designs, and ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Interior Design, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience in interior design, preferably in a turnkey or fit-out company.
• Skills:
• Proficient in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and construction methods.
