Junior Executive - Production

Role Overview: As the person responsible for overseeing day-to-day packing operations in the spice & masala/breakfast product lines, you will manage 34 automated packing machines including FFS- Augur type, Multi Head Weighing, and Cup filler. Your role will also involve ensuring smooth manual packing operations, maintaining production quality, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve daily output targets. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the operations of automated packing machines such as FFS- Augur type, Multi Head Weighing, and Cup filler. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. - Follow all Food Safety and company processing guidelines and regulations. - Complete daily logs, paperwork, and product sampling. - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. - Solve practical problems and troubleshoot equipment. - Plan and execute changeovers for different SKUs. - Monitor machine parameters and make minor adjustments as needed. - Filling storage hoppers and opening slide gates for processing. - Manage manual packing activities ensuring correct weights, packaging materials, and labeling. - Allocate manpower efficiently. - Ensure all packed products meet the required quality standards (weight, sealing, hygiene, appearance). - Coordinate with QC for inline checks and timely corrective actions. - Execute daily production plans as per requirement. - Maintain accurate records of production output, wastage, downtime, and material consumption. - Supervise operators and helpers working on packing lines. - Identify machine-related issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for quick resolution. - Other duties as assigned. Qualification Required: - Plus two- Science stream, ITI- Mechanical or Electrical. - Must be able to communicate in Malayalam (Read, Speak & Write), Hindi (Speak) & English (Read & Write). - Clean-in-place/sanitation experience preferred. - Minimum two years of experience working in a similar background would be desirable. - Good communication, record-keeping, and team management skills. - Flexibility to support/train on all three shifts. - Ability to work in an environment that is dusty and may contain spices with high pungency & heat. - Be able to work on feet for the duration of the shift. - Regular stooping, kneeling, climbing, bending at the waist, reaching or handling. - Vision requirements: near and far visual acuity. - Ability to work in hot temperatures. - Ability to work in a noisy environment.
