Junior Engineer- Environmental Compliance

As a Junior Engineer- Environmental Compliance at Flex, your role involves supporting extraordinary teams in building great products and contributing to the company's growth. You will be responsible for various tasks related to Environmental Compliance, interacting with manufacturers worldwide, providing guidance on Compliance information, and supporting different teams within the organization. Your typical day will include: - Collection, analysis & archival of the component information related to Environmental Compliance through Compliance Tool Management - Interaction with Manufacturers across the world to collect the Environmental declarations & provides guidance on Compliance information requested by Requestor - Providing support to Supplier Quality Engineers/Commodity Management/Procurement/Design Engineering team regarding Environmental Compliance - Handling the regulation changes in Compliance Tool & forecasting the risk of affected parts for the Product Environment Compliance team to alert the site - Providing Training to suppliers on the Environmental Compliance requirements with respect to customer needs wherever required - Coordinating with Global Environmental Compliance team for resolution of any new requirements from customers or Compliance related queries from site - Supporting the organization in regulatory compliance/ internal/third party audits - Having knowledge of ROHS, REACh, SCIP, IMDS, CAMDS, Material Analysis The qualifications we are looking for in our ideal candidate include: - Bachelors degree in EEE / ECE / Mech / E&TC - 0 to 2 years experience in Automotive Industry / EMS / Electronics Products Manufacturing Industry - Knowledge of electrical and electronic components - Knowledge of MS Office - Good analytical and logical reasoning skills - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Flexibility for all shifts In addition to the exciting work environment and challenging tasks, you will receive benefits such as Health Insurance and PTO for the great work you provide.
