Job Responsibilities 1) Analysis and understanding of BOM of the automotive components 2) Validation of material data sheets regarding customer-specific requirements and regulatory compliance requirements for IMDS 3) Creation of material / substance tree in IMDS and similar systems as per BOM, customer requirements and applied regulators compliances & recommendations 4) Execution of IMDS submission to all OEMs globally 5) Evaluation of supplier IMDS and follow up with suppliers if required 6) Primary contact for all customer inquiries 7) To work closely with suppliers, customers and internal contacts at other locations of BENTELER 8) Provide necessary training to organization 9) Provide the periodic reports and statistics Required Skill Set a) Good understanding for legal and customer requirements in regards of prohibited materials and substances in automotive industry b) Good understanding for and handling of automotive compliance databases. c) Expertise in IMDS and CAMDS task execution d) Experience in IMDS and CAMDS validation of the supplier e) Good communication skills, fluent English, assertive, self-learning and problem-solving attitude Required Qualification I. Graduate with BE / B Tech (Metallurgy / Chemical preferred) II. Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in IMDS
