Junior Engineer / Engineer

Role Overview: As a Project Engineer at the company, your primary role will involve managing project workflow, inspecting construction sites, providing engineering support, and preparing project reports. You will work closely with the lead engineer to ensure project schedules are met and deliverables are completed within the specified timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Managing Project Workflow: - Overseeing the progress of project elements, visiting sites, and resolving contractor delays on behalf of the senior civil engineer. - Serving as a liaison between the Project team and construction workers. - Working closely with the lead engineer to develop project schedules and deliverable timelines. - Inspecting Construction Sites: - Making periodic site visits to monitor progress and ensure projects are completed according to specifications and construction codes. - Preparing reports about site conditions and progress, and reporting findings to the lead civil engineer. - Providing Engineering Support: - Supporting planning and construction processes by gathering data for permit applications, presenting, and maintaining records of change orders. - Receiving assignments directly from the lead civil engineer, leading to day-to-day duties based on project needs. - Preparing Project Reports: - Creating and presenting progress reports to the lead civil engineer, technicians, and other team members. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. - Proven experience in project management and construction oversight. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in project scheduling software and MS Office applications.
