Job Description

Electrical & Hardware Design:

Design and develop analog and digital circuits for embedded systems.
Perform schematic capture, circuit simulation, and component derating analysis.
Work with cross-functional teams to define hardware architecture and interface specifications.

Component Engineering:

Select, evaluate, and qualify electrical components based on technical, cost, and lifecycle parameters.
Ensure alternate component sourcing and manage obsolescence risks.
Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams on BOM optimization.

PCB Design:

Create and review PCB layouts using industry-standard tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCAD, etc.).
Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure signal integrity, thermal management, and manufacturability.
Perform design reviews for DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) compliance.

Verification & Validation:

Develop and execute test plans for functional, electrical, and environmental testing.
Support lab bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting of prototype boards.
Document test results and ensure traceability to requirements and specifications.

Bonus or Equity

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
