Job Brief

Were looking for a creative thinker with excellent writing and research skills to help us elevate that work as our full-time in-house copywriter and visual researcher. As a member of the creative team, our copywriter will write and edit copy for a variety of projects across digital including blogs, social media, web banners, product descriptions, ads, newsletters, Whatsapp amongst other channels, working closely with the accounts and design teams to brainstorm ideas, create concepts, and develop messaging.

Thorough research and interviews will be required to understand each client&aposs industry, products/services, branding, and marketing goals.

The most successful copywriter will be a quick learner with a versatile writing style. The candidate will report directly to the Creative Head and will be responsible for developing and executing ideas across brands. The candidate will also spearhead shoots and creative direction across brands and should have a keen sense of aesthetics.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands
  • Research and understand the client&aposs needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings
  • Write copy for various brands across online channels and collaterals
  • Edit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs
  • Drive brand consistency across all brand communications
  • Spearhead creative strategies across clients and work with the team to ideate and conceptualise solutions that address a brands business problems
  • Develop and implement brand guidelines
  • Stay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere
  • See projects through the whole creative lifestyle, from inception to deployment
  • Lead projects creatively from visuals to art direction to language to execution

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor&aposs degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications
  • 1-3 years experience in content marketing or copywriting, preferably with an agency
  • Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a diligent eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
  • Proven ability to demonstrate brand voice
  • Excellent portfolio of work

Skills & Attribute Requirements:

  • Extensive Knowledge of Social Media Platforms & Digital Marketing Best Practices
  • Strong attention to detail and appreciation of good design
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize the fundamental concepts throughout various forms of outreach
  • Proficient Copywriting skills are a must
  • Ability to drive initiatives, be creative, innovative and able to think out of the box
  • Ability to understand the uniqueness of each brand to craft a distinctive strategy that would suit the brands audience
  • Good Interpersonal Skills

  • Team player with a Positive attitude
