Job Description Junior Social Media Content Creator (Graphic Design)

Were looking for a creative, fast-paced Junior Social Media Content Creator to support our growing content needs across social media. This is an ideal first job for someone with an eye for design, a passion for content creation, and a love for social media trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create short-form content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

• Design simple graphics, infographics, carousels, stills, and simple animations using Canva and CapCut (no Adobe required).

• Produce a high volume of content quickly the goal is quantity over perfection to start with (approx. 6+ pieces per day).

• Format content appropriately for each platform (dimensions, text, length). • Use templates and brand guidelines to ensure consistency.

• Stay on top of UK & Ireland trends using tools like Google Trends, Trendtok, and social listening. • Support internal branding e.g., presentation decks and internal templates.

• Contribute creative ideas and campaign suggestions to the team.

• Upload finished work into the team collaborative content calendar for review and approval. • Collaborate closely with the UK team and respond positively to feedback.

• Communicate proactively and stay adaptable in a fast-changing environment.

Ideal Skills & Traits:

• Very proficient in Canva (required); basic skills in CapCut (desirable).

• Strong attention to detail without over-polishing content.

• Understanding of social media platforms and what performs well on each. • Good sense of graphic design, layout, and animation (especially text & image motion).

• Excellent written English. • Comfortable using AI tools to help with content ideas and efficiency. • Able to balance planning with quick response to last-minute changes.
