About the Role

Junior Cloud Engineer (GCP)

Django

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain infrastructure on

  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  .
• Work with and configure GCP services, including:

• Docker

  and

  Kubernetes (GKE)

  for container orchestration

• Cloud Run

  for serverless deployments

• Compute Engine

  for VM-based workloads

• Cloud SQL

  for database management

• VPC

  for secure and optimized networking

• IAM

  for permissions, roles, and security policies
• Implement and optimize

  CI/CD pipelines

  using:

• Cloud Build (GCP-native)

• GitHub Actions

• Bitbucket Pipelines

• Deploy and support web applications built on

  Django (Python)

  and

  Next.js (React)

  .
• Collaborate with teams to automate workflows and improve cloud efficiency.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud performance and cost utilization.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices.
  

Requirements

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience

  working on

  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  .
• Strong understanding of

  cloud architecture, automation,

  and

  service integration

  .
• Experience with

  containerization

  tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Practical knowledge of

  CI/CD

  and experience implementing pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with

  Django

  and

  Next.js

  deployment workflows.
• Solid grasp of

  networking concepts, VPC setup, and IAM

  .
• Problem-solving mindset with good communication and collaboration skills.

• Certification:

  Google Cloud

  Associate Cloud Engineer

  or

  Cloud Practitioner

  (preferred).
