Junior Civil Engineer

As a Junior Civil Engineer at our company based in Calicut, you will play a crucial role in estimation, billing, and project coordination. With 12 years of hands-on experience, you will be responsible for preparing BOQs, generating work bills, supporting project planning, and ensuring project progress aligns with the plan. Your proficiency in relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD for 2D drawing, will be essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and assist in project estimation - Generate work bills and subcontractor bills based on site data - Support project planning, documentation, and material quantity analysis - Coordinate with site engineers to ensure project progress as per plan - Maintain daily records and assist in reporting and client updates - Work closely with the project team to manage timelines and cost efficiency - Use AutoCAD for 2D drawing, especially pipeline-related layouts Required Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering - 12 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects - Practical knowledge in estimation and billing - Experience supporting site execution and project coordination Additionally, you should possess key skills such as BOQ preparation, project estimation, bill generation, basic proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD for 2D drawings (especially pipeline layouts), strong communication, teamwork, and a basic understanding of project management.
