Junior CAD Design Engineer - Automobile (NX)

As a Junior CAD Design Engineer for Automotive (NX) at our company located in Dholka, Ahmedabad, you will play a crucial role in designing components for electric two- and three-wheelers. Your primary responsibility will be using NX CAD software to design plastic and metal parts. Additionally, you will support the development of mountings and trims for vehicle interiors and exteriors. Your collaboration with senior designers, engineers, and stylists will be essential for integration and modifications based on feedback. Key Responsibilities: - Design plastic and metal parts using NX CAD software - Support in developing mountings and trims for vehicle interiors and exteriors - Assist in creating and maintaining 2D drawings and documentation - Work closely with senior designers, engineers, and stylists for integration - Participate in physical prototyping and validation of designed parts - Modify designs based on feedback and technical input - Stay updated on design trends and material/manufacturing processes - Ensure timely completion of design tasks Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or related Engineering field - Experience: 13 years in CAD design (preferably in automotive domain) - Software Proficiency: Siemens NX - Basic Knowledge in GD&T, Injection Moulding, and Sheet Metal Operations In addition to technical skills, we are looking for candidates with good communication and documentation abilities, willingness to learn and take initiative, and who are team-oriented and adaptable.
