Junior CAD Design Engineer - Automobile (NX)

As a Junior CAD Design Engineer in the Automotive sector, with a focus on NX software, your primary responsibility will involve designing and developing components for electric two- and three-wheelers. You will have the opportunity to engage in the complete automotive design process within a dynamic work environment. Your main duties will include utilizing NX CAD software to design plastic and metal parts, aiding in the creation of mountings and trims for vehicle interiors and exteriors, as well as assisting in the maintenance of 2D drawings and related documentation. Collaboration with senior designers, engineers, and stylists for seamless integration, participation in physical prototyping and validation, and adapting designs based on feedback will be part of your routine. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or a related Engineering field, along with at least 13 years of experience in CAD design, particularly within the automotive industry. Proficiency in Siemens NX software is essential, and basic knowledge in GD&T, Injection Moulding, and Sheet Metal Operations will be advantageous. Moreover, possessing good communication skills, effective documentation abilities, a willingness to learn and take initiative, as well as a team-oriented and adaptable mindset are crucial soft skills for success in this position. Staying abreast of design trends and material/manufacturing processes while ensuring the timely completion of design tasks will also be part of your responsibilities.,
