Junior Architect Job

About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, renderings, and presentations. 2. Support the design team in developing concepts and translating them into functional designs. 3. Prepare and revise construction documents, plans, and specifications using CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). 4. Conduct site visits and surveys, documenting existing conditions. 5. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders as directed. 6. Assist in project research, code compliance checks, and materials selection. 7. Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and team discussions. 8. Maintain project documentation and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines. Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Basic knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction processes. Strong design and visualization skills. Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn and contribute to various phases of the design process. Portfolio of work demonstrating design capabilities (required). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with sustainable design principles and LEED standards. Familiarity with 3D rendering software (e.g., Lumion, Enscape, Rhino). Working toward licensure (e.g., completing AXP hours).
