Junior Architect

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to lead and drive the projects for Schematic Design stage to Construction Documentation stage.
• Coordinates with client's design & technical/engineering team for design solutions and incorporates into projects.
• Modify and prepare construction drawings during design development phase.
• Develop a complete architectural drawing set, including floor plans, elevations, building sections, wall sections, RCP, millwork, details & specific schedules.
• Ensure continuity and consistency of design deliverables, meet project schedules, budgets and deadlines.
• Review and check the drawings for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture with minimum of 2 years’ experience in preparing CD sets for architectural projects - residential and commercial, hospitality, retail, offices.
• Knowledge of construction methods of USA & Canada.
• Knowledge of construction materials, details, standards and building codes.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Should be handle projects independently with some minimal guidance.
• Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced drafting, drawing and detailing environment
• Self-motivated individuals who are skilled, personable, and are committed to professional excellence, with high level of initiative and “can do” attitude.
• Time management and ability to multitask are essential and ability to effectively meet the deadlines.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal to deal with international projects and go on daily calls and desktop sharing meeting.
