Junior Android Developer

You will be responsible for designing and building applications for the Android platform, with a focus on developing Android mobile apps, particularly in eCommerce app development, using Kotlin and React Native. Your role will involve demonstrating a strong knowledge of Android SDK, different Android versions, and adapting to various screen sizes. Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to back-end services, as well as experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning will be crucial. You will be expected to have knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem, cloud message APIs, and push notifications. Proficiency in using code versioning tools such as Git, understanding Google's Android design principles, and familiarity with OOP design principles will be essential. Collaboration with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications in a fast-paced environment is a key aspect of this role. To be considered for this position, you must have at least 3 years of experience in Android app development, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Kotlin. A solid understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and API design is required. Additionally, having at least 2 apps published on the Play Store is necessary.
