Junior Analyst-PEGA

As a Junior Analyst, Pega Systems at Owens & Minor, you will be responsible for responding to and resolving day-to-day issues reported by users within SLA timelines. Your key responsibilities will include defect fixes and debugging using tools like clipboard, Tracer, and Live UI. You will utilize PDC for monitoring, troubleshooting, and debugging solutions, as well as create Pega Cloud Tickets/Requests. Additionally, you will take the lead in managing incidents, guiding teammates, and escalating complex issues to the appropriate team and level. In this role, you will perform day-to-day system maintenance tasks to ensure production health. Your understanding of design will be crucial in supporting the analysis and implementation of PEGA Enterprise Class Rules, Flows, Activities, Correspondence, Case Management, Data Pages, Agents, UI design, Dashboards, and Reports. Qualifications required for this position include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. You should have at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in application support/enhancement in Pega PRPC V8.x. It is essential to be proficient in using PDC for troubleshooting and monitoring, and hold a Pega certified Systems Architect (CSA) certification. Furthermore, you should possess good problem-solving skills and be able to drive incident communication and continuous engagement with affected users and business stakeholders. Your ability to collaborate with diverse remote teams and manage through a matrix structure will be beneficial. Familiarity with various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Security, and Reports is required. Additionally, knowledge in Core Java, Relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgresSQL), Pega Admin Studio, and experience in ticketing tools like Service Now will be advantageous. It is preferred for candidates to have experience working with Agile methodology. This position will require working in rotational shifts and on-call responsibilities.
