Position - Jr. Account Clerk

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Clerical & Record Maintenance
• Maintaining files, ledgers, vouchers, and registers.
• Filing and retrieving financial documents.
• Updating manual or computerized accounting records.
• Accounting Support
• Assisting in preparation of bills, invoices, and challans.
• Posting entries in cashbook, journal, and ledger.
• Checking receipts and payments.
• Cash & Banking Work
• Preparing deposit/withdrawal slips.
• Assisting in reconciliation of bank statements.
• Handling petty cash transactions.
• Data Entry & Reporting
• Entering financial data in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Excel, ERP).
• Preparing simple statements of accounts.
• Assisting in monthly/quarterly reports.
• Assisting Senior Officers
• Helping accountants/auditors in audits and inspections.
• Preparing drafts of financial correspondence.
• Following instructions from Account Clerk or Finance Officer.
• Other Office Work
• Typing, photocopying, scanning of documents.
• Responding to routine queries.
• General administrative assistance in the accounts department.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of basic accounting & bookkeeping
• Familiarity with MS Excel / Tally
• Good typing & computer skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
