Junior Accountant

You are invited to join Queen Filter India Pvt Ltd as a Junior Accountant in Thrissur, Kerala. As a crucial member of our finance department, you will be responsible for handling key reporting and reconciliation tasks within our growing Trading Company specializing in Automotive and Industrial Filters. To excel in this role, you should possess a basic understanding of dealership operations and must have prior experience in areas such as Income tax, TDS, and GST. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting (Master's degree preferred) and should have at least 4 years of experience in general or tax accounting. Proficiency in computerized ledger systems, ERP, and advanced Excel skills are essential. You should also demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and the capability to thrive in a team-oriented environment. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing accurate and timely financial statements as per the established schedule, collaborating with the accounting team for inputs, conducting monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, and analyzing financial statements for discrepancies. You will be tasked with reconciling balance sheet accounts, coordinating semi-annual audits, and ensuring regular ledger maintenance.
