Junior 2D Designer

Position Overview:

As a Junior 2D Designer you will assist in the creation of engaging visual content across digital, print, and social media platforms. Working under the guidance of senior designers and creative leads, your role will be hands-on—supporting day-to-day design needs, applying brand guidelines, and contributing fresh ideas to enhance our visual communication. This position is ideal for a motivated designer eager to grow, learn, and develop their creative skillset within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibility Areas:

1. Visual Content Creation

Design and adapt graphics for a variety of platforms including social media, web banners, emailers, presentations, and print materials.

Assist in producing illustrations, icons, layouts, and typographic compositions that align with the brand.

Ensure high-quality visual output with attention to clarity, color, alignment, and consistency.

2. Design Adaptation & Asset Resizing

Re-purpose existing creative assets for different formats and dimensions across multiple channels.

Follow design templates and brand systems while making format-specific adjustments as needed.

Maintain organized files and adhere to proper naming conventions for ease of access and collaboration.

3. Collaboration & Team Support

Work closely with senior designers, content writers, and marketing team members to understand project requirements.

Participate in team brainstorming sessions, offering creative input and supporting idea development.

Apply feedback from reviews constructively and revise designs with accuracy and efficiency.

4. Brand Consistency & Guidelines

Follow established brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all design work.

Help maintain and apply the company’s visual identity system in all communications.

Support in updating design templates or visual elements under supervision.

5. Project & Time Management

Manage assigned tasks and projects with attention to deadlines and deliverables.

Communicate proactively about progress, bottlenecks, or need for assistance.

Keep design files well-organized and ready for internal sharing or handoff.

6. Learning & Development

Stay curious and up to date with trends in 2D design, social media visuals, typography, and layout techniques.

Learn and grow proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma.

Take initiative to improve your technical and conceptual design skills through tutorials, courses, or peer learning.

7. Quality Control & Refinement

Review your own work carefully before submission to ensure it is error-free and polished.

Implement internal feedback promptly and strive to improve based on design critiques.

Ensure designs meet technical specifications for print or digital publishing.
