Jr. Web Developer

As a Junior Web Developer at our company, you will be part of a dynamic development team. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites to meet project requirements. - Create custom themes and plugins for WordPress. - Customize WooCommerce templates and functionality as needed. - Integrate third-party APIs with WordPress for enhanced functionality. - Ensure responsive and user-friendly design on all websites. - Identify and resolve issues related to performance, compatibility, and functionality. - Collaborate effectively with designers and senior developers on projects. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Good understanding of WordPress core functions, themes, and plugins. - Hands-on experience in custom WordPress theme and plugin development. - Basic knowledge of WooCommerce customization. - Familiarity with REST API integration. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL. - Experience with version control tools like Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies. It would be beneficial if you have exposure to React.js or other modern JavaScript libraries, familiarity with page builders like Elementor and WPBakery, and experience with debugging tools and SEO optimization.
