Jr. UI Designer

As a Junior UI Designer at our leading e-learning company based in Pune, your primary role will involve crafting visually appealing and functionally efficient interfaces that provide a seamless experience for diverse user roles. You will collaborate with UX leads and business analysts to translate user requirements into functional interfaces, ensuring adherence to UI standards and best practices. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research, competitor analysis, and designing UI elements such as buttons, icons, forms, menus, and dropdowns. Additionally, you will be required to create wireframes and prototypes, develop and maintain a UI style guide, and present and defend design decisions based on the overall design roadmap and UI standards. To excel in this role, you should possess 2-4 years of experience, a strong portfolio showcasing your work, hands-on experience with design tools like Figma, Photoshop, Sketch, and Illustrator, as well as knowledge of visual design principles, interaction design principles, UX design principles, and processes. A creative problem-solving mindset, excellent visual skills, and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively, present designs, and work independently. Additional skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, WordPress, and experience in agile/scrum development processes will be advantageous. The interview process will involve initial screening, a technical round, and an HR round.
