Jr. Planning Engineer

You will be a valuable addition to our team at AECOM as a Planning Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in leading the planning and scheduling functions of large-scale construction projects. Your experience and expertise in project planning, particularly within the PMC framework, will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. - Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to align project timelines and deliverables. - Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance. - Perform delay analysis and recommend mitigation strategies. - Prepare and present project planning reports to stakeholders and senior management. - Support cost estimation and resource planning activities. - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. - Conduct site visits to validate progress and ensure schedule adherence. **Skills & Competencies:** - Advanced project scheduling and planning expertise. - Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. - Leadership and team coordination skills. - Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and delay analysis techniques. **Qualifications:** **Required Qualifications** - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling for construction projects. - Proven experience in PMC environments is highly preferred. - Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other planning tools. **Additional Information:** You should have a strong understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycle, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
