We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual for the position of Jr. Librarian within our education management organization. The Jr. Librarian will play a vital role in supporting the educational goals of our institution by managing library services and providing resources that foster a love of reading and learning among our students. This position involves curating and maintaining library collections, assisting educators in finding suitable materials for their curriculum, and engaging with students to help them develop research and information literacy skills. Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and organization of library collections, including acquisition, cataloging, and circulation of materials.
• Provide reference and research assistance to students and faculty, helping them locate and utilize library resources effectively.
• Facilitate library orientation and information literacy sessions for students and staff to enhance their understanding of library services and resources.
• Develop and promote library programs and activities that encourage reading and support curriculum needs.
• Maintain the library&aposs digital resources, ensuring accurate information is accessible online and promoting digital literacy among users.
• Collaborate with educators to recommend and acquire new materials that align with curriculum objectives and student interests.
• Perform regular inventory checks and assist in the maintenance of library spaces to ensure a welcoming and orderly environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor&aposs degree in Library Science, Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in library services and education, with prior experience in a library setting being advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with students, staff, and the community.
• Familiarity with library management systems and digital resource platforms is desirable.
• Knowledge of current trends in library management and educational technology.
