Jr. Java Developer

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems while ensuring high-availability and performance. You will play a key role in all phases of the development lifecycle, from writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code to conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing software systems will be part of your regular tasks, alongside ensuring code quality through unit testing. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is essential to drive successful project outcomes. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and possess proven hands-on development experience in Java. A strong knowledge of Java ecosystems including Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc., is required, along with experience in RESTful web services and familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. An understanding of Agile methodologies, excellent troubleshooting skills, and effective communication abilities are also necessary. You should be capable of working both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality solutions. Preferred qualifications for this position include experience with front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, knowledge of version control systems like Git and SVN, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. Certification in Java development would be considered a plus. This is a full-time position that includes health insurance benefits. The job location is in-person at JLPL Industrial Area, Mohali - 140306, Punjab. The work schedule is during the day shift. Candidates should be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to the specified location before starting work. A Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role.
