As an Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in financial transactions, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Record financial transactions in accounting software, with a focus on precision and completeness.
• Classify and code financial transactions appropriately.
• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, reconciliation of bank statements, and verification of financial documents.
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Utilize MS Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
• Proficiently use Tally for bookkeeping, accounting, and generating financial reports.
• Generate financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare financial reports for management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
• Monitor budgetary performance and report any variances.
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Communicate financial information effectively to various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with different departments to gather relevant financial data

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Candidates from the Banking Sector are preferred
• Proven experience as an Accountant.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
