The Junior Accountant will assist in daily accounting tasks including billing, journal posting, and purchase entries. The role requires accuracy, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to maintain organized financial records. Key Responsibilities 1. Billing Prepare and generate customer invoices on time. Verify billing details with purchase orders, delivery notes, or contracts. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate e-invoice generation. Maintain billing records and assist in follow-up for outstanding payments 2. Journal Accounting Record day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting system. 3. Purchase Entries Enter purchase invoices and expenses into the system. Match vendor invoices with purchase orders and goods received notes. Maintain accounts payable records and assist in vendor statement reconciliation Post journal entries including receipts, payments, adjustments, and accruals. Assist in monthly closing and account reconciliation activities. Qualifications & Skills Bachelors degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field. Basic understanding of accounting principles. Experience with accounting software (Tally/ERP) Good MS Excel skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and time management abilities.
