Journalist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Journalism Intern to become a valuable member of our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to acquire practical experience in various facets of journalism, such as writing, research, editing, and reporting. Your role will involve close collaboration with our editorial team and active participation in crafting engaging content for both digital and print publications. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the research and collection of information for articles, reports, and feature stories. You will be tasked with creating articles, blog posts, and social media content on diverse subjects while ensuring alignment with our editorial voice and brand. Conducting interviews with sources, collecting quotes for news pieces, and editing and proofreading written material for accuracy, clarity, and consistency will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will attend meetings, editorial discussions, and brainstorming sessions to share ideas and learn from seasoned journalists. Staying informed about current events, trends, and topics to contribute to pertinent and timely content will be crucial. You will help manage and update content on our website and social media platforms, as well as assist in organizing and maintaining editorial calendars and deadlines. In this full-time position, you can expect to work day, evening, and fixed shifts from Monday to Friday at our in-person work location. As part of the team, you will also provide support to the editorial staff with administrative tasks as required.,
