Journalism Intern

We are searching for a dynamic and energetic Journalism Intern to join our team and contribute to the creation of high-quality content for digital media. As an Intern, you will collaborate closely with our team to research, analyze, and generate trending content and current affairs for our digital media channels and pages. To excel in this role, you must be a keen observer of current affairs, particularly political developments within the country. You will play a vital role in upcoming projects and provide support for ongoing campaigns. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the team to create high-quality content for our blog and social media channels, posting as required. - Focus on social media management, influencer outreach, research, and content creation. - Monitor various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. - Possess a strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. - Conduct research to discover interesting and significant news. - Gather, verify, and interpret data. - Obtain firsthand information by participating in events. - Receive assignments and follow up on news leads and tips. - Demonstrate excellent communication and networking skills with the ability to extract information effectively. - Exhibit good observation and deduction skills. - Thrive under the challenge of daily deadlines and story discovery. - Be self-motivated, positive, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work. - Research and produce content for social media pages and other global activities. - Customize content for various platforms such as radio, television, print, blog, and social media. - Develop and maintain information for upcoming music events, latest news, trends, press releases, and networking. - Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Open to final year students or recent graduates. - Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office, digital editing, web search, databases).
