Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Freelance Business Development Manager to help build and grow our presence on Upwork and other freelancing platforms from scratch. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in acquiring high-value clients and driving revenue growth. This is a commission-based role with lucrative earning potential for the right person. Key Responsibilities: Set up, manage, and optimize our Upwork profile and other freelancing platforms. Identify, target, and acquire high-paying clients through effective bidding and proposal strategies. Build relationships with potential clients to understand their needs and position our services effectively. Develop and execute growth strategies to increase visibility, client engagement, and conversion rates. Negotiate project terms, close deals, and ensure client satisfaction. Track and report performance metrics, providing regular updates on pipeline and closed deals. Requirements: Proven experience in business development on Upwork or similar freelancing platforms. Strong understanding of how Upwork algorithms, bidding, and client acquisition strategies work. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setting . Preference will be given to candidates based in or available in Mohali, Punjab for occasional in-person meetings if required. Result-driven mindset with a focus on commission-based earnings . Compensation: Commission Structure: 20-30% per project (Negotiable based on experience and performance).
