Job Description Summary The HR Operations – Payroll & Benefits specialist – Plant support will manage payroll and benefits related activities for the factory site, including the collection, calculation and validation of payroll inputs from multiple sources, support onsite onboarding, provide support on employee payroll and benefits & policy related queries, letters, cascade organization communications effectively to the employees in local language, coordinating on insurance related data, provide support around Provident fund, ESIC, and pension related matters and supporting statutory and factory level compliance requirements. Job Description HR Operations Provide employee communication in the local language for unionized employees to ensure clarity and engagement. Post important communications on the notice board promptly to keep employees informed. Manage end to end on site onboarding of new hires, ensuring all documentation and processes are completed. Prepare and issue letters to unionized employees. Coordinate with central team for customized letters, Visa invitation letters and documents. Raise tickets for employee life cycle updates such as onboarding, transfers, promotions, separations, and personal data changes. Raise tickets for salary revisions in line with the LTS agreement. Monitor ticket status and follow up with the life cycle team until closure. Payroll Inputs & Processing Collect, validate and submit Time office data (attendance, overtime, shift allowance etc.), Incentive inputs from production team, as per payroll timelines. Ensure accurate input of employee data related to payroll. Coordinate with the central payroll team for processing monthly payroll, Full and Final settlements and salary advance payments. Review payroll Drafts and flag discrepancies for timely correction. Handle employee payroll queries and provide resolution within defined TAT. Support audits (Internal, ICFR, Statutory) by preparing and submitting required payroll data and backups. Employee Benefits Administration Manage employee benefit endorsements including Medical Insurance, Personal accident insurance, and other applicable schemes. Coordinate with central team to ensure timely issuance of e-cards for Medical. Coordinate with insurance provider/TPA and internal teams for enrolment, modifications, and claims. Exit and Full and Final process Manage end to end exit payroll processing. Authorize and update separation details in separation screen. Coordinate with HRMs, Finance, and payroll vendors for timely F&F computation and payout. Ensure all clearances and statutory requirements are met before closure. Address employees exit related questions promptly and ensure resolution within defined timelines. PF, Pension and Statutory Compliance Handle Employee queries related to PF pension, and other statutory benefits. Guide employees through PF forms, nominations, withdrawals, and transfer procedures. Create ESI numbers (IP creation) for eligible employees and share details with payroll team monthly.
