JD for Head Mechanical Job Title: Head – Mechanical (Rolling Mill & Operations) Location: Bobbili, Vizianagaram District, Andhra Pradesh Department: Mechanical & Maintenance Reporting To: Unit Head. Position Overview: As the Head – Mechanical , you will lead the mechanical engineering and maintenance operations for our Anannya Metals & alloys Pvt Ltd, Aluminium Wire Rods Manufacturing Plant. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless functioning of the rolling mill, associated mechanical systems, and other operational equipment. You will oversee a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Rolling Mill Operations & Maintenance. 2. Mechanical Systems Oversight, Equipment Management and System Optimization . 3. Team Leadership & Development, Team Management, Training Programs . 4. Safety, Quality & Compliance, Collaborative, Safety Standards. 5. Budgeting & Cost Management, Budget Preparation, Cost Control. 6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation, Process Improvement, Technology Integration Qualifications: Education: BE/Polytechnic-Mechanical or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Experience: 10 to 15 years of experience in mechanical operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the aluminium or metals manufacturing industry. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of rolling mill operations, mechanical systems, and maintenance practices. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams, manage budgets, and drive operational excellence. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Key Competencies: Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
