Job Purpose The FI Head will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Financial Inclusion (FI) vertical, with a focus on Government Bank Business Correspondent (BC) operations. The role requires strong leadership in monitoring, operations, and effective liaison with PSU Banks, ensuring seamless execution of FI initiatives and achievement of business targets. Role & responsibilities : Business Correspondent Operations: Oversee end-to-end operations of Government Bank BC activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies. Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and implement monitoring mechanisms for BC channel performance, transaction volumes, and service quality. Prepare and present periodic reports with analytics to the management. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with PSU Banks, government officials, and other stakeholders to drive FI initiatives. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, design growth strategies, and ensure achievement of financial targets for the FI vertical. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of professionals to achieve operational excellence and business objectives. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency, customer experience, and compliance. Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to BC operations. Training & Capacity Building: Organize regular training programs for BC agents and internal teams to enhance productivity and service delivery. Preferred candidate profile : Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA preferred. Experience Minimum 5-10 years of experience in managing Government Bank BC operations, with a proven track record in monitoring, operations, and business development. Liaison Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and sustain strong relationships with PSU Banks and government agencies. Business Acumen: Sound understanding of financial inclusion products, banking operations, and rural banking ecosystem.
