Operate the school bus in a safe and timely manner on designated routes. Pick up and drop off students at scheduled locations. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Ensure all students are seated. Maintain discipline and ensure student safety on the bus. Keep the vehicle clean and report any maintenance needs. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and school transport policies. Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus if required. Maintain a log of trips and fuel consumption. Report any delays, incidents, or accidents promptly to the authorities. Qualifications and Skills: Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (with badge). Prior experience in school or public transport is preferred. Good knowledge of local routes and traffic rules. Ability to manage students calmly and respectfully. Physically fit and punctual. Basic communication skills in Tamil/English (as required).
