Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is performed according to specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This position requires a strong foundation in Mechanical engineering principles and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Location : NTPC Simhadri, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh Work location : NTPC Simhadri, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh Key Responsibilities: · Project Planning and Management: Developing construction layouts, work schedules, and budgets. Coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications and building codes are met. · Technical Advice and Problem Solving: Providing technical solutions to on-site challenges, ensuring adherence to architectural designs and specifications. · Supervision and Coordination: Overseeing construction activities, ensuring work aligns with the project schedule, and coordinating between various teams (contractors, subcontractors, suppliers). · Quality Control: Conducting site inspections, monitoring progress, and ensuring that materials and workmanship meet required standards. · Safety Management: Implementing and monitoring safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel. · Documentation and Reporting: Preparing site reports, documenting changes to plans, and maintaining records of inspections and quality control measures. · Communication and Collaboration: Maintaining effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Skills Required for a Site Engineer: · Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles. · Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction. · Project Management: Ability to plan, organize, and manage construction projects effectively. · Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders. · Leadership: Ability to supervise and motivate construction teams. · Safety Awareness: Strong understanding of safety regulations and the ability to implement safety protocols.
