Role & responsibilities Job Description This role involves Hands-on work at bench scales Plan experiment in consultation with scientists. Prepare shake flasks for the experiment. Execute experiment as per plan. Carry out in-process analysis as per experimental sampling plan Collect, record fermentation run and analytical data. Compile experimental data. Analyse data and discuss with team to draw insights Support assaying customer samples using a variety of biochemical and analytical techniques Maintain lab and equipment clean, safe and usable. Maintain lab inventory for seamless functioning of the lab Required Qualifications: Masters degree (with 2 - years of experience) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bio Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, Cereal Science, or a related field Strong technical foundation, ideally including industrial biotechnology processes, and the application of enzymes in an industrial setting Experience performing bench-scale experiments to evaluate the use of enzymes and/or yeast in industrial biotechnology applications Experience with analytical techniques relevant for monitoring bioprocesses (HPLC, biochemical assays, compositional analyses, etc) Experience with data analysis using Microsoft excel Strong interpersonal, partnership, and leadership skills with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive projects to completion Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
