We work through institution building, training, and enterprise models to promote sustainable, community-led livestock practices. Position Overview: The Veterinary Technical Officer will provide hands-on animal health support, capacity-building for Pashu Sakhis and farmers, and technical leadership for goat-based enterprise development. The role involves both clinical and community outreach responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Animal Health Services Provide preventive and curative health care services for goats and small livestock. Conduct regular deworming, vaccination, and disease surveillance camps in villages. Guide construction of scientific goat shelters and feeding practices. 2. Capacity Building & Training Train and mentor community animal health workers (Pashu Sakhis) and farmers on goat health, breeding, feeding, and management. Prepare training modules, IEC materials, and technical handbooks as needed. 3. This content will be used for reporting, fundraising, advocacy, and promotional campaigns. Key Responsibilities: Shoot and edit professional-quality videos and photographs during field visits.
