Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and creative Arts and Crafts Teacher who can inspire students to express themselves through visual arts. The ideal candidate will work closely with students to develop their artistic abilities, foster self-expression, and promote cultural appreciation through various art forms. The teacher will also be actively involved in beautifying the school environment and supporting educational and cultural activities. Key Responsibilities: Build meaningful one-on-one relationships with students to understand and nurture their individual creative potential. Inspire students to explore and enhance their creative skills through a variety of visual arts and craft activities. Teach students to recognize, analyze, and appreciate works of art from diverse cultures and traditions. Encourage students to express their own ideas, values, and beliefs through visual mediums. Foster a positive attitude towards learning and appreciating different forms of art. Develop and promote self-expression and confidence in students through art. Take initiative in the beautification and decoration of the school campus including: Classrooms, administration block, principal’s chamber, assembly hall, mess, and other school areas. Collaborate with PGTs/TGTs for the preparation of educational aids and visual materials for classroom displays and school exhibitions. Guide and prepare students in creating visual materials for various cultural programs and school-level activities. Plan and implement special art education projects and art displays. Create and design banners, posters, and decorations for all school functions and events. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or equivalent (Master’s degree preferred) Prior experience in teaching visual arts to school-aged children is desirable Strong understanding of different artistic styles, materials, and techniques Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and students Key Skills: Creativity and passion for the arts Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and engage students Excellent organizational and planning abilities Cultural sensitivity and openness to different artistic traditions
