Job Title: CNC Turning Operator Department: Tool Room Reports To: Production Supervisor / Shop Manager Location: KTC- KRAD Techno Crafts Pvt Ltd , Unit 1, 4/1A7 Shree Industrial park, No4- Veerapandi, Coimbatore Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Turning Operator to join our Tool Room Project team. The CNC Turning Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC turning machines to produce precision metal parts and components according to specifications. This role ensures the efficient production of high-quality parts in a safe and timely manner. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC turning machines (e.g., CNC lathes) to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Load raw materials and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform tool changes, offsets, and basic programming edits as required. Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Inspect workpieces using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Maintain proper documentation of production and inspection results. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines. Follow all safety and operational procedures. Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and quality assurance personnel to resolve production issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining preferred. 1+ years of experience operating CNC turning machines (or similar machining equipment). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Strong understanding of machining principles, speeds, and feeds is added advantage Familiarity with G-code and CNC program editing is a plus. Strong attention to detail and quality. Basic math and computer skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Work Environment: Tool Room with machinery and moderate noise levels. May involve working various shifts or overtime based on business needs.
