As a Field Technical Analyst , you will provide technical expertise to teams across the site and use your knowledge to help them deliver exceptional service. Using a variety of tools and techniques, you will apply your theoretical understanding to the practical challenges we face on-site every day. This includes creating formation evaluation logs and helping to analyze and interpret cuttings to determine rock type and hydrocarbon presence. You will also help monitor the well parameters and maintain sensors to understand well conditions. An extensive development program will expand your technical knowledge and hands-on skillset. Our Operations internships are the best way to understand whether life in the field is for you. We often work in challenging locations where extreme weather and intense pressure are common. It’s demanding, but if you have a sense of adventure and are willing to work hard while getting your hands dirty, it’s a unique and fulfilling opportunity. You’ll work on live projects on active sites and be exposed to the challenges we face every day. We offer two different internships in Operations. If you’re applying for a Field Engineer internship, you must have completed your second year of an undergraduate degree in engineering or a relevant science.
