Interpret and extract 2D drawing views from 3D CAD models using software. Create detailed 2D mechanical drawings including dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, welding symbols, and GD&T annotations. Maintain drawing accuracy and consistency as per company and industry standards (ISO, ASME, DIN, etc.).Update existing 2D drawings based on revisions in 3D designs or feedback from production and QA teams. Collaborate with design engineers and production teams to resolve discrepancies and improve drawing clarity. Strong understanding of mechanical components, tolerances, fits, and fabrication practices. Knowledge of GD&T. Ability to interpret BOMs and work with engineering change requests. Manage and organize drawing files in the PLM or file management system.
