Key Responsibilities:Assemble products or parts according to specifications, drawings, or instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, or machines to complete assembly tasks. Inspect components and finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Identify and report any defective parts, equipment, or materials to the supervisor. Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals. Perform basic troubleshooting on assembly issues. Pack and prepare finished products for shipment as required. Maintain production records and documentation as needed. Skills and Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related field is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, or assembly instructions. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with assembly tools. Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 25 kg]). Interpret and extract 2D drawing views from 3D CAD models using software. Create detailed 2D mechanical drawings including dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, welding symbols, and GD&T annotations. Maintain drawing accuracy and consistency as per company and industry standards (ISO, ASME, DIN, etc.).Update existing 2D drawings based on revisions in 3D designs or feedback from production and QA teams. Collaborate with design engineers and production teams to resolve discrepancies and improve drawing clarity. Strong understanding of mechanical components, tolerances, fits, and fabrication practices. Knowledge of GD&T. Ability to interpret BOMs and work with engineering change requests. Manage and organize drawing files in the PLM or file management system.
